Terms of Service

Last Updated: April 24, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and Clob ("we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the Clob website and AI application. By accessing the service, you agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms of Service.

2. Description of Service

Clob is an AI-powered code generation tool designed specifically for embedded systems, microcontrollers (like ESP32, Arduino), and hardware logic. We provide a platform where users can input natural language prompts to receive generated C++ or MicroPython code.

Currently, Clob is operating in a Beta Phase. Features, availability, and pricing are subject to change without prior notice.

3. Hardware & AI Disclaimer (Crucial)

Please read this carefully: Clob uses artificial intelligence to generate code. While we strive for accuracy, AI can make mistakes, hallucinate syntax, or provide incorrect hardware pin configurations.

  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and verifying all generated code before compiling and flashing it to any physical hardware.
  • Incorrect code can cause physical damage to microcontrollers, sensors, motors, or connected devices (e.g., short circuits, overheating).
  • Never use Clob to generate code for life-saving medical devices, critical aviation systems, heavy machinery, or any system where failure could result in injury or death.
  • We hold zero liability for any damaged hardware, data loss, or physical harm resulting from the use of code generated by Clob.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

Your Output: Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you retain all rights, title, and ownership of the code generated by Clob based on your specific prompts. You are free to use the generated code in both personal and commercial projects.

Our Platform: The Clob platform, its source code, databases, functionality, UI designs, and algorithms are owned by us and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use the platform to:

  • Generate malicious hardware code (e.g., hardware-level malware, unauthorized network jammers).
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer our prompt systems or underlying AI architecture.
  • Automate requests or scrape the platform excessively without our express permission.

6. Modifications and Interruptions

We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove the contents of the Service at any time or for any reason at our sole discretion without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
